Public Service Experience

I learned the importance of service at an early age from my mom, Vera DeRosa. Our living room was often full of Democratic activists she supported during the 1960s and 70s. As a young boy, I met union organizers, student activists, political candidates, and Freedom Riders. I’ve tried to honor their work and the values my mother taught me my whole life. Wherever my career has taken me, I’ve always believed that our obligation to serve begins with the people closest to us. That’s why I will be honored to represent the people I’ve lived side by side with for years in Holliston and our neighbors in Hopkinton, Millis, and Sherborn.
